In the practice of Tibetan Buddhism, the rank of fully ordained nun’s vow doesn’t exit.  Tibetan nuns who completed the advanced retreat in meditation of 3 years and 3 months are still doing cooking chores in kitchens of monasteries dominated by monks, and are denied access to grand lobbies for Buddhism practices. 

Considered inferior in rank, Tibetan nuns face more hardships in life than their male counterparts.  Their education and welfare are generally ignored.  We plan to build 50 rooms, one temple and 8 classrooms to accommodate around 100 nuns who live in desolate and impoverished areas.  The estimated cost is about 142,000RMB.
